First, it must be said that a reader really doesn't know, for sure, if this author truly had any close working relationship with Diana during the final years of her life. We can't tell, because that relationship - if it actually existed - has never before been revealed, verified, or scrutinized. The author says it was all very hush-hush, at his own behest. Well, that's a bit curious, and the fact that it is only now being trotted out is curious as well. That being said, however, and if we can trust this author, then there are many interesting and important bits of information here, some of it highly relevant at this particular moment in the history of the British Royal Family.Second, everything written here about Diana seems to have been filtered (one way or another) through the author's personal, somewhat unusual, spiritual and social belief system, and made to fit inside his own paradigm. What matters is that Diana is not here to tell us whether she herself believed any part of what Stewart Pearce espouses.Third, and most disturbing, here is yet another male in Diana's life who - having gained her trust - is now using his "insider information" for his own benefit, whether that benefit is money, attention, celebrity, narcissistic "buzz," or any combination of those. Here is yet another male who is betraying Diana and her trust - revealing things she thought would be forever private. He is another person, commoditizing this woman, speaking not only about her innermost self, but presuming to positively "promote" and to speak for her. That is sickening.Buyer, Beware.
